Last Updated: June 2026
Welcome to SteadyOn
Thanks for using SteadyOn! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how you can use our platform. By creating an account or using SteadyOn, you’re agreeing to these Terms.
SteadyOn is operated by Urgnt Limited, a company based in New Zealand. We provide our services to organisations around the world, and these Terms apply to everyone who uses our platform.
1. Using SteadyOn
1.1 Who Can Use SteadyOn
SteadyOn is designed for use by organisations and their employees. You need to be at least 18 years old to use SteadyOn, or have authorisation from your employer or organisation administrator.
1.2 Your Account
When you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your login details secure. Let us know right away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
1.3 Acceptable Use
We want SteadyOn to be a reliable, professional tool for workplace health and safety. When using our platform, please:
- Use the platform for legitimate health and safety management purposes
- Keep your organisation’s data accurate and up to date
- Don’t post content that’s illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Don’t try to hack or disrupt the service
- Don’t copy or resell our content without permission
- Respect copyright and intellectual property rights
If we notice activity that violates these Terms, we may need to suspend or close your account.
2. Your Data
2.1 Ownership
You and your organisation own all the hazards, incidents, actions, inspection records, training records, and other content you create on SteadyOn. We don’t claim ownership of your data.
2.2 Licence to Us
To provide our service, you give us permission to store, process, and display your data as needed to operate SteadyOn. This permission lasts as long as you use SteadyOn and is revoked when you delete your account.
2.3 Responsibility
You’re responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. SteadyOn is a tool to support your health and safety management — it does not replace your legal obligations as an employer, PCBU (person conducting a business or undertaking), or other duty holder under applicable health and safety legislation (such as the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 in New Zealand, the model Work Health and Safety laws in Australia, or the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 in the United Kingdom).
3. Subscription Plans and Payment
3.1 Free and Paid Plans
SteadyOn offers subscription plans to suit organisations of different sizes. Details of current plans and pricing are available on our pricing page.
3.2 Billing
If you choose a paid plan, you’ll be billed according to the plan you select. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
3.3 Refunds
If you’re not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase and we’ll work with you to make it right. This may include a refund, depending on the circumstances. This is in addition to any statutory rights you may have under consumer law in your country (such as the Australian Consumer Law or the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015).
3.4 Changes to Pricing
We may change our pricing from time to time. If we do, we’ll let you know at least 30 days before the change affects your subscription.
4. Privacy and Data
Your privacy matters to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. As a New Zealand company, we comply with the NZ Privacy Act 2020 and applicable data protection laws in the countries we serve, and we take data protection seriously for all our users, regardless of where they are located.
5. Ending Your Use of SteadyOn
5.1 Closing Your Account
You can close your account at any time from your account settings. When you close your account:
- Your personal information will be permanently deleted
- Your organisation’s data will be removed
- Any active subscriptions will be cancelled
We recommend exporting any records you need to retain for legal or compliance purposes before closing your account.
5.2 We May Suspend or Close Accounts
We may need to suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to our service or other users. We’ll try to give you notice when possible, but we may need to act immediately in some situations.
6. Disclaimers and Limitations
6.1 Service Availability
We work hard to keep SteadyOn running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee the service will always be available or error-free. We may need to take the service down for maintenance or updates from time to time.
6.2 No Warranties
SteadyOn is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the service will meet all your needs or be completely error-free. SteadyOn is a tool to support health and safety management and does not constitute legal advice.
6.3 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Urgnt Limited won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SteadyOn. Our total liability to you for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can’t be excluded or limited under applicable law — including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, the Australian Consumer Law, and UK consumer protection law. Where mandatory consumer guarantees apply and cannot lawfully be excluded, nothing in these Terms affects them.
7. Disputes and Legal Matters
7.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by New Zealand law. If you’re based in another country, you may also have rights under your local consumer protection laws (such as the Australian Consumer Law or the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015), and nothing in these Terms limits those rights where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
7.2 Resolving Disputes
If you have a problem with our service, please contact us first and we’ll do our best to resolve it. If we can’t work it out, disputes will be handled in the New Zealand courts, unless your local laws require otherwise.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know by email or through a notification on the platform. The updated Terms will take effect 30 days after we notify you. If you continue using SteadyOn after that, you are agreeing to the new Terms.
